Essence of Shangri-La scents has bottom notes of vanilla, sandalwood and musk that are highlighted by top notes of light bergamot and tea spiced with ginger. The delicate aroma, six months under development, was inspired by the concept of Shangri-La itself – the legendary land of exquisite harmony and beauty described in James Hilton’s 1933 novel Lost Horizon.
